Apple's Steve Jobs may have passed away
only a few days ago, but Sony Pictures is
already in negotiations for the screen rights
to the authorized biography of the tech
mogul.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony
Pictures is working out a deal to acquire the
rights to the book Steve Jobs, written by
Walter Isaacson who is the former managing
editor of Time magazine.
For the book, Isaacson was given complete
access to Jobs and was even given a personal
tour of Jobs' childhood home and conducted
over 40 interviews with Jobs. The book was
scheduled to be released on November 21, 2011,
but has been moved up to October 24.
